In 1980, amid Mumbai’s vibrant Bhuleshwar district, our storied legacy ignited when our founder, Shri Khimji Devji Chheda, hand-rolled papad daily in a humble rented space, supported by a dedicated workforce of just 5 women. Over the years, we have flourished into a formidable enterprise, growing from 50 kilograms of papad production daily to over 12,000 kilograms per day across, anchored by an unyielding commitment to excellence.
Today, our strength lies in the hands of more than 5,000 skilled artisans, including over 97% women who continue the revered tradition of hand-rolling, while 150 men make up just 3% of our workforce. These masterful hands resist the tide of automation to ensure every papad embodies authentic texture and flavor. We take pride in offering the widest range of papads, with our top sellers including Bikaneri Papad, Punjabi Masala, Chana Masala, Appalam, Rice Khichya, Udad Papad, and Panipuri. We have cemented our status as creators of the world’s most premium papad.Our journey began in Mumbai and expanded through Maharashtra and Karnataka before reaching international markets such as the UK, USA, and Kuwait, where we continue to delight discerning palates worldwide.

About Us
“Ganesh Papad” was incepted 30years ago in Mumbai. Since then we have come a long way from 20-30kgs production to 8 tons per day.
Ganesh Papad was born 30 years ago.Our founder was Shri Khimji Devji Chheda who started with a small shop on rent in Bhuleshwar area of Mumbai. Initially we were making about 30 kgs per day and since last 30 years we have expanded today to 10000 kgs per day of production.
We are the most expensive papad available in the world. The only reason is that our quality is premium and much above any other brand available in the world.
We are the Pioneers in all of the above varities. Today more than 2000 women hand roll each and every papad in various parts of the country for us. We have many factories across India. We have recently diversified into Potato Chips, Panipuri and Khakhara with our brand name Fancy Bites.
